Aveda Institute Student Threatened Shooting At School: Pinellas Sheriff
An 18-year-old girl attending Aveda Institute in Clearwater threatened a shooting at the school, the Pinellas County sheriff said.
CLEARWATER, FL — An Aveda Institute student was arrested Monday for threatening a shooting at the Clearwater school, the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Addison Gass, 18, of Largo was charged with written threats to kill or conduct a mass shooting.
Deputies say she posted a photograph of herself with a text overlay that said “i’m abt to shoot up this school” and “they done pissed me tf off”.

Gass admitted to the post to deputies and said she was frustrated over a dress code violation.
