Input Sought On 15-year Master Plan For Clearwater's Park Facilities
The public is invited to three open house meetings to give their input on the future of the city's parks.

CLEARWATER, FL — The city of Clearwater is developing a parks and recreation master plan to create an overall vision for accessible park facilities to meet the needs of the diverse community.
The public is invited to three open house meetings to give their input on the future of the city's parks.

- Monday, July 24, 5:30 to 7 p.m. at North Greenwood Recreation & Aquatic Complex,900 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave.
- Tuesday, July 25, 4 to 6 p.m. at The Long Center, 1501 N. Belcher Road.
- Wednesday, July 26, 5:30 to 7 p.m., Clearwater Main Library, 100 N. Osceola Ave.

There are currently 60 parks in the city of Clearwater as well as eight sports fields and complexes, three golf courses, a lawn bowling club, a shuffleboard club, a sailing center, a tennis complex, four trails and two public docks.

Feedback from the community is crucial in shaping the development and enhancement of park facilities. The master plan allows parks and recreation leaders to look to the next 15 years and plan projects and programs that meet the needs of the community.
