Kohl’s Set to Hire 69,000 for Holiday Rush
Breaking: Kohl's has announced plans to hire more than 60,000 workers for the upcoming holiday season.

Tampa Bay area residents looking for extra work as the holidays approach might want to check at their nearest Kohl’s. The Wisconsin-based retail chain has announced plans to hire more than 69,000 workers across the country in time for the holiday season.
“The holidays are an exciting time to join the Kohl’s team,” Ryan Festerling, the company’s vice president of human resources, said in a statement. “Whether you’re looking to start a career in retail or make extra money for the holidays, Kohl’s is a great place to work with a culture of appreciation and opportunity.”
Kohl’s has positions available at more than 1,100 stores across 49 states, the company noted. In addition, posts are available at the chain’s distribution and e-commerce fulfillment centers acros the country along with Kohl’s credit operations.

“Our seasonal associates help deliver amazing products, incredible savings and an easy experience to Kohl’s customers in our stores and online,” Festerling added.
The company began its hiring surge back in August and plans to have most positions filled by the middle of November. For more information about open positions, visit Kohl’s online. Kohl’s has several store locations in the Tampa Bay and Central Florida areas, including sites including Clearwater, St. Petersburg, Brandon, Tampa, Lutz, New Port Richey, Lakeland and Sarasota.

Dollar General also recently announced a national hiring surge. In that case, the company is looking for 10,000 employees to help with its planned expansion across the country.
