Man Critically Injured After Falling 2 Stories At Construction Site

The 29-year-old man was working on the second story of an assisted living facility under construction in Clearwater when he fell.

CLEARWATER, FL — Clearwater police detectives are investigating a construction accident that left a man critically injured Thursday.

Around 1 p.m. at The Grove at Countryside, an assisted living facility under construction, a 29-year-old man fell from the second story of the building. He was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa where he is in critical condition.

Detectives notified the Occupational Safety and Health Administration to investigate the work-related accident.
