Pedestrian Killed in Roosevelt Boulevard Crash

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — A 57-year-old St. Petersburg man is dead following a Tuesday night crash on Roosevelt Boulevard.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Domingue Rashan Brown, 31, of Largo was driving eastbound on Roosevelt Boulevard around 9:26 p.m. Aug. 23. As she approached the intersection of 60th Street North, a 57-year-old man was crossing Roosevelt east of 60th Street North.

Troopers say the man, who has not yet been identified, was not in a crosswalk and walked into Brown’s path. He was struck by Brown’s Chevrolet Impala and died at the scene, a highway patrol report said.

No charges were filed in the case.
