What's Open, Closed In Pinellas County On Christmas Eve, Christmas

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Pinellas County government offices will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24, for Christmas Eve. This includes departments under the Board of County Commissioners, Clerk’s Office, Tax Collector, Property Appraiser and Supervisor of Elections.

• The parks administrative office, Heritage Village and parks education centers will be closed on both Friday, Dec. 24, and Saturday, Dec. 25.
• County parks and preserves will be open on Friday, Dec. 24, but closed on Saturday, Dec. 25. Fort DeSoto Park, county boat ramps and beach access will remain open both days. Annual passes can be purchased online. 
• Pinellas County Human Services offices will be closed.
• Pinellas County Building Services offices will be closed, and inspections will not take place.
• The courts of the Sixth Judicial Circuit (Pinellas and Pasco) will not be in session except for first-appearance advisory hearings and emergencies.
• The Solid Waste Disposal Facility will be open on Friday, Dec. 24, but closed on Saturday, Dec. 25. The Solid Waste administrative offices and HEC3 will be closed on both Friday, Dec. 24, and Saturday, Dec. 25.
• The offices and adoption center at Pinellas County Animal Services will be closed both days.
