Pinellas Sheriff's Deputies Honored At MADD Recognition Event
MADD honored a Pinellas deputy for apprehending more than 1,000 driving under the influence offenders.

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — Pinellas County Sheriff's Office Driving Under the Influence Unit members and several patrol deputies were recognized at the 2023 Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Awards Recognition Event.
The event was held on Aug. 4 in Fort Myers. MADD hosted the recognition ceremony and dinner to show its gratitude and appreciation for the men and women, and their families, for keeping the roads and community safe.
Pinellas Deputy L. Blake was awarded the Millennium Achiever Award for apprehending more than 1,000 DUI offenders in his career.

Deputy Malcome Deane was awarded the Breath Alcohol Tech/Breath Test Operator of the Year.
