‘The Price is Right Live’ Coming to Clearwater

CLEARWATER, FL — Are you ready to come on down? If so, you might want to put Tuesday, April 4 on your 2017 calendar. That’s the day “The Price Is Right Live” is coming to Clearwater’s Ruth Eckerd Hall.

“The Price is Right Live is the hit interactive stage show that gives eligible individuals the chance to ‘come on down’ to win,” Ruth Eckerd explained in announcing the show. “Prizes may include appliances, vacations and possibly a new car.”

The stage version of the popular game show has been playing to “near sold-out audiences” for more than a decade. The show has given out more than $12 million in cash and prizes since it began its run.

Game show lovers who want a chance to appear in the stage version as contestants don’t have to buy tickets to be eligible. Legal residents of the United States and Canada, 18 and older, are invited to register to be a contestant by visiting the registration area near the venue box office three hours before show time. Tickets, however, are required to watch the show.

The show is set to begin at 7:30 p.m. April 4, 2017, at the 1111 N. McMullen Booth Road venue. Tickets range from $25.75 to $125. The $125 dinner package includes a premium seat, pre-show dinner and a voucher for valet parking, which begins 15 minutes before pre-show dinner doors open at 5:30 p.m. Separate dinner tickets are also available for $25.

Tickets for the show do not increase chances of being selected to play, Ruth Eckerd stressed.
