PSTA Fleet Technician Awarded State Of Florida Technician Of The Year

PINELLAS COUNTY, FL — The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority Board of Directors acknowledged Paul Levesque as Florida Public Transportation Association’s Bus Technician of the Year.

“We couldn’t be more excited and proud of Mr. Levesque,” said Brad Miller, chief executive officer of the PSTA. “He represents all of PSTA with his commitment to excellence, positive attitude, leadership qualities and dedication to our core mission, which is to provide the highest level of properly maintained buses to the transit riders of Pinellas County.”

Levesque joined PSTA’s Fleet Maintenace Division in 2016 as an entry-level Technician I. Since then, he has been elevated to Technician III.

Currently, there are only 861 master transit bus technicians in the country of which 10 are at PSTA. This marks the sixth Technician of the Year award for PSTA’s Fleet Maintenance Division. Levesque will be honored at FPTA’s annual conference on Sept. 20.
