Red Light Camera Violator of the Week: Two For One?
Two cars cross Chestnut Street at Ft. Harrison Avenue making Clearwater Police's Red Light Camera Violator of the Week.
A white sports car crosses Chestnut Street at Ft. Harrison Avenue as the light turns red. Almost five seconds later another car crosses too, making Clearwater Police's Red Light Camera Violator of the Week.
The violation comes with a $158 fine.
The clip was posted on the police's Facebook Page Jan. 4.

Mike De Nyse commented: "Good question though, if the light changes as your crossing, and the back half of the auto is technically running the light, do you still get a ticket?"
Becky Rosenberg said: "i have heard you must reach the center of the intersection before the light turns red. So as long as the front of you car is there you should be ok. However it's always best to be safe rather than sorry!!"
