St. Pete-Clearwater Airport to Add Flights to Asheville
A one-way ticket will start at $79.99 as an introductory price. Flights begin June 6.

Starting June 6 travelers at St. Pete-Clearwater International Airport will be able to take a non-stop flight twice a week to Asheville, NC on Allegiant.
"We are pleased to bring another affordable and convenient travel option to Asheville," said Andrew C. Levy, Allegiant Travel Company President in a news release. "We are confident the community will appreciate the convenience of flying nonstop to Tampa / St. Pete area and the value of bundling their air, hotel and car rental reservation together."

"Passengers in our region have been extremely happy with our current Allegiant service to both the Orlando area and Fort Lauderdale, and we know there will be a buzz of excitement over this announcement of new service to the Tampa Bay area," said Lew Bleiweis, Executive Director of the Greater Asheville Regional Airport Authority in a news release. "Florida is the number one destination for Asheville Regional Airport passengers, and we're grateful to have, in Allegiant, an airline partner who recognizes the important link between our region and these key destinations throughout Florida. We can't wait to get this service started."
