1. Crest Lake Park Bathrooms to Come Down
City Leaders voted 3-2 to destroy the bathrooms at Crest Lake Park, with council members Bill Jonson and Jay Polglaze in opposition, during the city council meeting Thursday. It could cost $9,000 to destroy them and could happen within 30 days.
2. Doggie Dining is OK at 3 Clearwater City Restaurants
While dogs might be seen with owners at restaurants throughout the city, only three currently open in Clearwater are permitted to allow dogs, according to city officials.
3. Clearwater Hotel Named 'Best Beach Resort'
The Sheraton Sand Key Resort near Clearwater Beach received the award in March at the SENSES Award Gala Night.

The Clearwater Marine Aquarium set its third best attendance day at its main facility and saw a record combined visitors at both the Island Estates and downtown Clearwater facility recently during spring break.
