Watch: Good Samaritans Rescue Man Trapped In Burning Car In Clearwater
Before first responders got to the scene, good Samaritans helped put out a car engulfed in flames using fire extinguishers, video shows.
CLEARWATER, FL — Good Samaritans came to the rescue of a man who was trapped inside a burning car in Clearwater, police wrote in a social media post.
Watch a video of them using fire extinguishers to put out the fire below.
They jumped in to assist before first responders got to the scene.

“You are our heroes,” police wrote. “Thank you for stepping up to the plate. And thank you as well to police officers and firefighters who responded to the scene.”
Though police didn’t share where the car fire happened, the video from the scene showed a Little Caesar's pizza chain in the background, which is at 1712 Gulf to Bay Blvd.
