World-Champ Bagpiper From Clearwater Plays in Dunedin
Take a listen to Adam Quinn of Clearwater, a world-class bagpiper, perform a rousing number at a Dunedin pub.
Bagpipe virtuoso Adam Quinn of Clearwater gives a rousing performance at Flanagan's Pub in Dunedin in this YouTube video posted on May 11.
"Give Adam a couple of pints and you get amazing tunes like these at Flanagan's Pub," was the wry comment by DPB (Dunedin Pipe Band), which posted the video.
Quinn is front man and founding member of Lucid Druid, a Celtic-fusion band out of Clearwater that Patch profiled in 2011.

The band got its start at the Dunedin Brewery's open mic night. Quinn has been a competitive piper internationally for two decades.
Quinn performs on a global stage. But he has local roots. Quinn and his wife and daughter make their home in Clearwater. He was Pipe Major of the Dunedin High School Scottish Highlanders, and attended the University of South Florida in Tampa.
