- Have you been thinking about getting an e-bike or golf cart? Shaffer’s American Custom Golf Carts is hosting its Electrify Your Ride Event at HOB on Sept. 9 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Stop by to test drive the new lineup of Tomberlin E-Bikes and LSVs. You can also enter a raffle for the chance to win a Tomberlin MOAB Electric Bike! (Dunedin Patch)
- If you have sandbags that came into contact with floodwater during Hurricane Idalia, bring them to the Pinellas County Solid Waste Disposal Complex in St. Petersburg. Do not throw away sand or full sandbags with your regular trash or yard debris. Sandbags that haven't come in contact with floodwater can be stored for future use, or the sand can be spread onto lawns or landscape beds. (City of Dunedin via Facebook)
