Hale Senior Activity Center To Serve As Silver Santas Program Location

DUNEDIN, FL — The Dunedin Parks & Recreation Department will have Hale Senior Activity Center as a participating location for the "Silver Santas" program again this year.

Silver Santas is a program of the Senior Resource Committee of Better Living for Seniors that provides gifts during the holiday season to senior citizens who reside in assisted living communities, nursing homes and senior housing (HUD) communities.

Residents are invited to pick up a tag from the Hale Senior Activity Center, 330 Douglas Ave., Dunedin, (during open business hours). Each tag lists the recipient's specific needs, including sizes and interests. The unwrapped gifts/items must then be returned by Friday, Dec. 3 to the Hale Senior Activity Center, or to the alternate location listed on the tag.

Silver Santas is a program of the Senior Resource Committee of Better Living for Seniors. BLS is a volunteer organization made up of businesses and individuals that work with seniors and is affiliated with the Area Agency on Aging of Pasco-Pinellas Inc.
