Motorcyclist Killed In Crash On County Road 1 In Dunedin

Investigators said the SUV and motorcycle crashed when the SUV made a left turn onto Michigan Boulevard.

DUNEDIN, FL — A 49-year-old motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night in a crash on Michigan Boulevard and County Road 1.

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office, around 6 p.m., 58-year-old Cynthia Janssen was heading north on County Road 1 in a black Mercedes SUV while Bryan Rogers was riding a Kawasaki motorcycle south in the curb lane of County Road 1.

Investigators said the SUV and motorcycle crashed when Janssen made a left turn onto Michigan Boulevard. The traffic signal on County Road 1 was green for north and southbound traffic at the time.

Rogers was pronounced dead at the scene. Janssen suffered no injuries.
