Redesigned, Upgraded Dunedin Winn-Dixie Invites Customers To Celebrate

As part of the grand reopening celebration, Winn-Dixie presented a check to Dunedin High School.

DUNEDIN, FL — Following a Wednesday ribbon-cutting ceremony, the newly remodeled Winn-Dixie store at 1296 County Road 1 in Dunedin is set to celebrate with residents on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

On Saturday, the store's grand reopening will feature:

  • Raffles every 30 minutes for a chance to win a $100 gift card.
  • Live cooking demo with a local chef from noon to 4 p.m.
  • A special drawing at 1 p.m. for a chance to win a Blackstone grill.
  • A prize wheel with gift baskets and branded merchandise and complimentary bakery items.

To celebrate the grand reopening, Winn-Dixie held a check presentation for Dunedin High School to support the school’s vital programs and future leaders.

Over the past year, Winn-Dixie gathered feedback directly from local customers and associates to transform the Dunedin store into a shopping destination that is both convenient and attractive. The refreshed store now offers a newly updated produce department, improved bakery department and expanded seafood department and additional offerings.

With fresh concepts and features, the new and improved Dunedin Winn-Dixie store now includes:

  • New façade signage and a fresh, contemporary color palette and modern store signage inside.
  • A newly updated produce department featuring an expanded selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, including organic varieties.
  • An improved deli with expanded offerings with a wide assortment of easy lunch and dinner options including self-serve hot food with options varying daily, rotisserie chicken, a wing bar with several flavors, as well as prepared sandwiches and salads.
  • An improved bakery department with self-serve doughnuts and a wider selection of cakes and fresh breads.
  • A refreshed meat department offering a wide selection of fresh meats including Certified Angus Beef®.
  • An expanded seafood department, offering shoppers a variety of fresh seafood on ice, additional frozen seafood assortments, as well as the “Seafood Made Easy” option where customers can choose the type of seafood, vegetables and seasoning to be packaged together for easy preparation at home.
  • An updated health and beauty section.
  • An updated floral department to help customers find the perfect bouquet for any occasion.
  • A new sand and surf section featuring a variety of beach necessities.
  • Convenient delivery when shopping online through the Winn-Dixie app and website in as little as two hours for $9, providing online customers the same great benefit of in-store prices, savings and promotions.
  • New self-checkout lanes to provide customers with an additional option for added convenience.
  • An expanded grocery selection with additional products and assortments.

The improved Dunedin store is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
