Inspired by Dunedin:
In a world we can be anything, be kind.
Working on our own circle of influence.
That is how we achieve congruence.
Planting gardens and sharing food is how we are working on it in my hood.
Co-op tools and carpools to school.
Beach clean ups and sayin' what's up.
To be human is to be kind. Humankind.

From my notebook:
- Check out the latest short story by Dunedin author Kip Koelsch titled “Moose. Indian.” Available on Amazon, Koelsch described the story as follows: "Based on his reported last words, it’s a dark reimagining of Henry David Thoreau’s first trip to the Maine Woods — as he recalls the uncomfortably gruesome truth on his deathbed." (Kip Koelsch via Facebook)
- Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is hiring part-time school crossing guards who can work two hours per day. Those interested can learn more and apply at the link. (Pinellas County Sheriff's Office via Facebook)
- Are you a musician? Stop by D&J Records on Aug. 26 at 1 p.m. for an Open Jam event! All are welcome to play some tunes or hang out and listen. (D&J Records via Facebook)
- Attention dog lovers! Meet Rambo and Rusty, two bonded pups in desperate need of a foster home! Funds are running out to keep them boarded, so if you can't foster or adopt, please consider donating to the Paw Life Rescue Group based out of Largo. Dusty is a 3-year-old cuddly Corgi, while his brother Rambo is a playful Shepherd mix. You can learn more about these cuties at the link. (Paw Life Rescue Group)
