NAPLES, FL — A small airplane crashed into a vehicle on Interstate 75 Friday afternoon, according to a Florida Highway Patrol news release.

The plane crashed in the southbound lanes near mile marker 107, Pine Ridge Road, in Naples.

The southbound lanes are currently closed to traffic, FHP said. Drivers are asked to avoid the area and seek an alternate route.
