Deputies responded to the home after receiving a call about a “15- to 20-foot python” in the engine compartment.
When Sgt. Van Pelt, a state-licensed python contractor, arrived, he found “a much smaller, red rat snake soaking up heat in the engine bay,” the sheriff’s office said.
