Human Remains, Urn Found At FL Thrift Store: Sheriff
An urn and human remains were found at a Fort Myers thrift store Friday, the Lee County Sheriff's Office said.

LEE COUNTY, FL — An urn and human remains were found at a Lee County thrift store Friday.
A deputy responded to a Fort Myers Goodwill store after it received a white and floral urn in one of its donation bins, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office wrote in a Facebook post.
The deputy removed the urn from the store for “safekeeping” and it’s being stored at the sheriff’s office evidence facility, the agency said.

Anyone who owns the urn or who might have information about it is asked to contact LCSO at 239-477-1000 and ask for evidence.
“We would like to make sure this gets to its rightful owner,” the sheriff’s office said.
