• St. Lucie County removes 18 derelict boats from waterways in year-long cleanup effort (wptv.com) — Derelict boats are being cleared from waterways around Fort Pierce as part of St. Lucie County’s year-long cleanup, which has already removed 18 abandoned vessels. Officials say the effort, funded partly by a navigation district grant, aims to prevent pollution, protect property, and tackle navigational hazards before they become bigger problems for residents and boaters.
