5 Things to Do in Gulfport: Springfest, Sailboat Rides, Operation Medicine Cabinet

Springfest: Gulfport’s annual Springfest is all new this year. The 19th annual Springfest has a new theme, "Garden, Art and Faerie Festival." And the event is at Clymer Park. BCYC Fun Day: The Boca Ciega Yacht Club is inviting everyone to their annual Fun Day event. Come out for free hot dogs, drinks and sailboat rides between 1 and 4 p.m. on Saturday at 4600 Tifton Dr. S. Gulfport Patch will be there too, stop by and say "hi."

Operation Medicine Cabinet: Drop off unused prescription medications on Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Gulfport Walgreens. For more information check out our article, "Drop Off Rx Pills You Don't Need - and Save a Life."

Regatta: The Gulfport Yacht Club Multi-Hull Regatta begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Sunday at the Gulfport Beach. Stop by, you'll be sure to snap a few awesome pics!

Band & Ballroom Dance: For just $7 per person, you can hit the dance floor on Sunday from 6 - 10 p.m. at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom. The live band begins at 10 p.m.
