5 Things to do Memorial Day Weekend

From the Lincoln Cemetery Cleanup event to the annual SoStudio Tour, there's a lot going on this weekend in Gulfport!

Lincoln Cemetery Cleanup: Ladies from the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 14 will be sprucing up the historic Lincoln Cemetery, 600 58th St. S., on Saturday, May 25 at 9 a.m. In honor of Memorial Day, they will be there with trash bags, clippers and American flags to tidy up the grounds and place an American flag at each of the Veteran's grave sites.

SoStudio Tour: The Third Annual SoStudio Tour is TWO DAYS! The tour begins on Saturday from 1 - 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 - 4 p.m. The event features studios, galleries, receptions, and demonstrations. On the day of the events, tickets for $10 may be bought at The Longhouse or Gulfport Area Chamber of Commerce.

Dinner Show: Murder on Blueberry Hill Mystery Dinner is an interactive show at The Village Pub on Saturday, May 25. The all-inclusive event includes dinner and a show for $34.95. For more information check out the event listing on our calendar - "Murder on Blueberry Hill Mystery Dinner Show."

Ballroom Dancing: Every Sunday a live band lures people to the dancefloor at the Gulfport Casino Ballroom. Lessons begin at 6 p.m. with live music starting at 7 p.m. Tickets are $7 per person.
