Friday Night Art Walk, Gecko Pub Crawl, Friday Forecast,
Today is Friday, August 2! Check out 5 things you need to know.

Gulfport Art Walk: Meet and purchase the works of talented independent artisans, craftsmen, authors and entertainers stretched over a half-mile up and down scenic Beach Boulevard. Enjoy live music, view the stars through St. Pete Astronomy Club’s state of the art telescopes (weather permitting) and visit local shops, galleries and restaurants. It all starts at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2. See the event listing on Patch for more details.
A Little Rain May Fall: With a 40 percent chance of afternoon storms, it’s a safe bet that bringing an umbrella along today is a good idea. The National Weather Service says storms are more likely in the afternoon and evening hours. Some of them might be strong with heavy winds, so do be careful out there!
