Gulfport Comes Together to Relay for Life

The Gulfport Superstars, American Gladiators and Cancer Crusaders are just three of the 14 teams registered to help celebrate, remember and fight back at the American Cancer Society's annual Relay for Life fundraiser in Gulfport.

On Friday, April 19, 14 teams with more than 130 participants will come together to help raise money to save lives from cancer. Cancer survivors, those still in treatment, friends and family will come together to honor survivors and raise awareness.

The annual event kicks off at 6 p.m. at the Michael J. Yakes Recreation Complex. Relay for Life is an overnight event with camping, games, raffles, food, drinks and more. It ends around 8 a.m. Saturday, April 20.
