Man, 20, Charged With Having Sex With Teen
Gulfport Police arrested a man after they said he had sex with a girl between the ages of 12 and 15.
A 20-year-old St. Petersburg man is charged with having sex with a girl between the ages of 12 and 15, according to Gulfport Police.
Philip Charles Corson, 20, of St. Petersburg, was arrested on a charge of lewd and lascivious battery, a felony, on Wednesday, May 3, according to a Pinellas County Sheriff's Office bookings report.
According to the arrest report, Corson told authorities he had consensual sex at the victim's home on April 17. The girl's parents were not home, the report states.

On April 30, investigators held a controlled phone call between Corson and the victim. According to the report, Corson admitted to having sex with the victim.
Corson is being held in the Pinellas County Jail awaiting trial. Bail is set at $20,000.
