New Gulfport City Website Coming Soon

The city's new website could be up and running as soon as Monday.

Gulfport's new city website features a user friendly homepage, updated photo galleries and interactive maps.

Gulfport City Councilors received a preview from Interim IT Director/Library Director David Mather at Tuesday night's council meeting. Mather, along with Technical Events Specialist Justin Shea and Boca Ciega High School Student Zachary Stoler, created the new website to make it more user friendly, fresh, bright and colorful.

City Manager Jim O'Reilly says they hope to add the ability to register for programs at the Recreation Center in July.

Correction 4 p.m.: Gulfport Patch posted the web address for the test site when this article was published. The City has since asked that we take it down as officials are still working on the site and need to fix problems before it goes live. We've been told that the website could go live as soon as Monday, June 24.
