Palms of Pasadena to Be Sold

HCA is under contract to acquire the South Pasadena hospital within the next year.

Palms of Pasadena Hospital is about to have a new owner.

Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that HCA has signed a contract to buy the South Pasadena hospital and two Hillsborough County hospitals.

The three hospitals – Palms of Pasadena, Memorial Hospital of Tampa and Town & Country of Tampa – will become part of HCA West Florida.

Palms of Pasadena is a 307-bed hospital. The three hospitals are currently owned by Iasis.
