β’ Camp Kulaqua presents 'Road to Bethlehem," Dec. 12-14 (alachuachronicle.com) β High Springs families can enjoy a free, immersive βRoad to Bethlehemβ Christmas experience at Camp Kulaqua this Friday through Sunday, with live animals, village-style activities, and hot chocolate. Each evening ends with a large-scale musical retelling of the Christmas story, so bring chairs or blankets to settle in comfortably for the show.

β’ Alachua County Commission adopts inclusionary housing amendments, approves Eastwood Preserve development (alachuachronicle.com) β Alachua County commissioners are exploring funding for a proposed High Springs-to-Newberry rail trail that could add a new recreation option for local residents. The meeting also brought new inclusionary housing rules, poultry regulations, approval of the Eastwood Preserve development, and an update on the Florence landfillβs expected closure timeline.
