$8.75M FL Lotto Winner: Check Your Tickets
A ticket worth $8.75 million was sold in Florida amid two players winning $1 million each, lottery officials say.

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, FL — A single ticket worth $8.75 million is waiting to be claimed, according to Florida Lotto officials.
The quick-pick ticket was sold at J and J Food Store in Jacksonville Beach.
The drawing held Wednesday night turned up winning numbers 1, 8, 12, 24, 33 and 47. Double play winning numbers were 10, 19, 20, 30, 38 and 47. The jackpot now sits at $1 million.

Tickets can be purchased until 10:55 p.m. on draw nights, and the drawings are held at 11:15 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday. Tickets cost $2. Current odds of winning are 1:7.61.
For an extra $1, residents can participate in double play for a bonus drawing of up to $250,000. These drawings are held immediately after Florida Lotto drawings.

The win in Jacksonville Beach came on the day a North Lauderdale woman took home a one-time lump-sum payment of $640,000 after winning $1 million in the $1 million a year for life spectacular scratch-off game, lottery officials announced Wednesday.
On Thursday, it was revealed that a Royal Palm Beach man also won $1 million in the Gold Rush Legacy scratch-off game. He too claimed a one-time lump-sum payment of $640,000.
Prizes more than $1 million and any prizes with an annual payment option must be claimed at the Florida Lottery headquarters in Tallahassee, excluding Mega Millions and Powerball prizes of $600-$1 million.
