What does this person teach?

2nd grade.

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

Mrs. Bauman went above and beyond to make sure my son received the services he needed even before services were officially provided! If it wasn’t for that, he would be in a very tough spot this year. Teacher support is so crucial in students' lives — especially students with undiagnosed disabilities.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She genuinely cares about her students! As a family, [we were] willing to put effort into our children’s education and Mrs. Bauman gave us the support to follow through. My son never had a bad day with her!
