JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Sandlot Jax Fitness Festival is coming to Met Park this April 22-24. Intent: Let’s Turn Jacksonville, Florida into the Capital of the Fitness Universe.

Sandlot Jax is bringing together global trainers, brands, and thought leaders in health, wellness, fitness and technology for a big weekend of fitness and fun. There are activities for all interests and abilities.

●  Experts in Mental, Physical and Social Health. Veterans, Civilians, #1 Best Selling Authors, CrossFit Games Champions, CEOs and business leaders, elite Special Operations soldiers, world class nutritionists, and skateboarders.

●  Smart, health conscious ticket buyers are flying from all over to meet, listen to, and train with these leaders

●  This is Jacksonville’s introduction to a global fitness stage

Our vision to turn Jax into the Capital of the Fitness Universe depends on creating a great environment for our partners to activate and have fun while they’re here. We want them to come back and keep coming back.

This is John’s first trip to Jacksonville.

●  Niantic is bringing a “Community Day” with all of their real world games over the Sandlot Jax weekend

●  They want to do a bigger event here for 2023.

●  When they launch Pokémon GO Fest in Chicago (pictured), they sell out 21,000 tickets and have an additional 180,000 players city-wide. Let’s bring that to Jax.

Our goal is to create the “South By Southwest” of Fitness.

●  In 1987, the first SXSW was a counter culture music festival. It’s spread to media, film, technology, panels and conferences. It’s a city-wide takeover and attracts smart talent and business leaders at every level.

●  Importantly, SXSW is also really fun.

Local business leaders committed to social fitness are challenged to put a corporate team together and encourage employees to participate. Teams can do the obstacle course and/or one of the 5K/10K/15K Scavenger hunts (walk, ruck, or run). You’ll receive recognition both digitally and on the grounds.
