Local Father-Son Duo Brings Clean Eatz To Jacksonville

Jacksonville residents now have the tools to live a healthier lifestyle with the new Clean Eatz that opened at 4828 West Deer Lake Drive on November 18. The healthy lifestyle restaurant specializes in preparing properly-portioned meals and will give the community the option to order meal plans, Grab ‘N’ Go meals, a full dine-in menu as well as catering at the wellness-inspired café.

Clean Eatz Jacksonville - Southside is owned and operated by local father-son duo Jerry and Jer Mosiello. Jerry has more than 30 years of sales, marketing and business development experience. Jer, a University of North Florida graduate, has experience in marketing, finance and logistics. The duo dreamt of operating a business together and use their previous professional experience and combine it with their passion of healthy living. After finding Clean Eatz, they decided to expand the concept in their local community and plan to open three additional locations in Florida.

The family operated business will also employ Jer’s wife, Alix and an additional staff of 15 employees. Clean Eatz is hiring full and part-time employees and all resumes can be sent to jaxsouthside@cleaneatz.com.

It’s hard to be on the go and eat healthy, but we want Clean Eatz to make it easy for everyone to enjoy healthy, delicious food,” said Jerry. “We offer grab-and-go, dine-in meals and weekly meal plans with measured macros made fresh and prepared on-site. Our menu varies weekly, and customers can sign up online to begin receiving our weekly meal options. There is no memberships or obligation, only plenty of delicious meals to choose from.”

With a mission to be the first step to living a healthy lifestyle, Clean Eatz offers the opportunity to have a personal chef prepare every meal at an affordable price. With new meals that perfectly balance proteins, carbs and fats, people in the Southside area will be able to order meal plans every Thursday through Sunday on the Clean Eatz website to have healthy meals prepared and ready for pick up.

“Opening a business with my father is a dream come true and we can’t wait to provide our community with a convenient healthy option for all people, regardless of where they are in their health and wellness journey,” said Jer. “Clean Eatz was a place we would want to eat at and that was a main reason why we decided to invest, we truly believe in the product.”

Guests of all dietary restrictions, including those maintaining gluten-free and low carb diets, can enjoy several delicious and healthy menu items in the café, such as build-your-own bowls, salads, burgers, wraps, flatbreads, and more.
