• Key West motorcycle gang member arrested in teen sex solicitation case: Sheriff (nbcmiami.com) — Law enforcement has arrested a member of a Key West-based Pagan motorcycle gang after an undercover operation in which he allegedly tried to solicit sex from someone he believed was a 14-year-old girl. Monroe County’s sheriff says he’s pushing to revoke the suspect’s probation and pre-trial release in earlier violent cases, stressing that authorities won’t tolerate gang intimidation in the Keys.
   

• George Mira Sr.,star college QB at Miami known as ‘The Matador,' dead at 83 (wsbtv.com) — Key West is remembering native son George Mira Sr., the standout quarterback who first made his mark leading Key West High School to back-to-back state baseball titles before starring at the University of Miami and in the NFL. The 83-year-old, known as “The Matador,” died Tuesday in Miami after a celebrated football career that began on local fields.
   

• Good Morning America Unveils 2025 Holiday Card as Its Hosts Reveal Their Favorite Holiday Traditions (Exclusive) (people.com) — Robin Roberts plans to spend the holidays in Key West, biking with her wife Amber Laign and their dog Lukas decked out in festive lights and a Santa cap. She and her Good Morning America co-hosts also shared their favorite holiday traditions, from South Florida trips and elaborate family dinners to nostalgic Christmas drinks and childhood gifts, as they unveiled the show’s 2025 holiday card.
