He first came for the Songwriters Festival, then returned to film his “Easy to Love” video and celebrate his birthday, while now co-hosting the Backstage Country radio show and celebrating his tenth No. 1 hit. 
• Coast Guard operation responsible for seizing over 150,000 lbs. of cocaine (workboat.com) — Key West plays a behind-the-scenes role here, as the Joint Interagency Task Force-South based on the island helps detect and monitor massive cocaine shipments in the Eastern Pacific. Operation Pacific Viper has already seized over 150,000 pounds of cocaine, with Coast Guard cutters making record hauls that officials say disrupt cartels and keep drugs from reaching U.S. shores.
