36th Florida BJ's Wholesale Club Opens In Davenport

To celebrate, the newest club for the retailer presented a donation to the Polk County Boys & Girls Club.

DAVENPORT, FL — BJ's Wholesale Club membership warehouse is celebrating the opening of its 236th club in the United States but the first in Polk County.

The new club at 6360 Grandview Parkway in Davenport has a BJ's Gas location on-site and offers members everyday low fuel prices, with the opportunity to earn extra savings through BJ’s Fuel Saver Program on regular, premium and diesel fuels.

“Bringing BJ’s one-stop shop experience into the Davenport community is a wonderful way to kick off 2023,” said Theodore Kyriakidis, club manager of Davenport’s BJ’s Wholesale Club. “We couldn’t be more eager to engage with our smart-saving families in the area, welcoming them to this brand-new location, and continuing to build upon our strong presence in Florida.”

At BJ’s, members can choose from a variety of convenient shopping options like in-club shopping, curbside pickup, in-club pickup, same-day delivery and standard delivery from BJs.com. When shopping in-club, members will have access to ExpressPay through the BJ’s mobile app, a service that allows shoppers to scan products as they go and avoid the checkout line at the end of their trip.

The warehouse club offers an array of fresh foods, produce, a full-service deli, household essentials, pet supplies, various exclusive offerings, an assortment of seasonal items, home décor, fashions for the family, toys, hot tech and a selection of local products.

Shoppers can sign up for a one-year BJ’s Inner Circle Membership for $55 and a one-year BJ’s Perks Rewards Membership with BJ’s Easy Renewal for $110 membership fee. BJ’s Perks Rewards members earn 2 percent cash back on most BJ’s purchases. All BJ’s memberships are subject to BJ’s current membership terms.

In Davenport, BJ’s food bank partner is Feeding Tampa Bay. To date, BJ’s has donated more than 140 million pounds of food including meat, produce, dairy and bakery items to Feeding America member food banks.

Hours are Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Gas hours are Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Optical hours are Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
