$5 Million Florida Lottery Auburndale Winner Has Lucky Day
A Polk County resident purchased a winning X The Cash Scratch-Off game in Vero Beach, and then drove back home a millionaire.
POLK COUNTY, FL — Monday turned into a lucky day for Auburndale resident, Jose Serrano, who won $5 million after he purchased an X The Cash Scratch-Off game.
The winning ticket was bought at Shell, 9520 20th Street, Vero Beach, the Florida Lottery said. Serrano chose receive his winnings as a one-time, lump sum payment of $4,450,000.00. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus commission for selling the $5 million winning ticket.
The $20 game, 200X THE CASH, launched in September 2020 and features more than $446 million in cash prizes, including ten top prizes of $5 million. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.96.
