A 77-year-old Daytona Beach man was killed and 24-year-old twin brothers were hospitalized following a crash in Polk County.

LAKE WALES, — A 77-year-old man was killed early Thursday and 24-year-old twin brothers were hospitalized when one of the brothers lost control of his Isuzu Trooper and spun into the path of a Ford Escape along the southbound lanes of U.S. Highway 27.
Carrie Horstman of the Polk County Sheriff's Office identified the man who was killed in the crash as James Hildock of Daytona Beach. The crash occurred shortly before 6 a.m. near Collany Lane, south of Warner University.
Horstman said Taron Rolle of Bartow was behind the wheel of the 2001 tan Isuzu and his brother, Tarell, was riding in the passenger seat. The Isuzu crossed the grass median and landed into the southbound lanes where it was struck by Hildock's 2012 red Ford.
