American Pickleball Tour Coming to Winter Haven Aug. 11 to 13

WINTER HAVEN, FL — One of the fastest-growing U.S. sports is making its way to Florida for the Winter Haven American Pickleball Tournament.

The competition, ideal for beginners to professionals and everyone in between, will take place Friday, Aug. 11 through Sunday, Aug. 13 at the AdventHealth Fieldhouse, 210 Cypress Gardens Blvd. in Winter Haven.

Tournament play begins Saturday, Aug. 12, and continues through Sunday, with social events mixed in. Participants 14 years of age and older and all skill levels will participate.

A combination of tennis, badminton and ping pong, pickleball is a paddle sport created with all ages and skill levels in mind. This event offers an opportunity for novices and advanced players to get active and make new friends — all while improving their game. To learn more about the sport, click here.
