Auburndale Minor Taken To Jail After Allegedly Killing Boyfriend: Deputies

Following an argument over the weekend, a minor is accused of stabbing his boyfriend of nine months in a car. He died shortly afterward.

AUBURNDALE, FL — A 14-year-old boy has been accused by authorities of stabbing and killing his 18-year-old boyfriend following an argument that occurred near his house Friday night, according to an Auburndale Police Department news release.

Detectives said they found Zachary Jorden-Lee Brown's body lying in the intersection of Lime Street and Charles Avenue at 11:54 p.m. Brown had two stab wounds. The 14-year-old and Brown had been in a relationship for about nine months, WFLA reported. An argument occurred at the minor's house as they planned to drink alcohol Friday night.

According to investigators, the suspect told them that Brown had slammed his finger in a car door. After he went inside to treat his finger, he allegedly got a kitchen knife and brought it with him to his boyfriend's car as he wanted to talk about the earlier argument.
