Babies 'R' Us Reborn In Florida In Partnership With Kohl's
Several Kohl's locations in Florida will host baby product retailer Babies 'R' Us, which had shut down with parent company Toys 'R' Us.
LAKELAND, FL — The rebirth of Babies 'R' Us is coming to five locations in Florida.
Kohl's plans to bring the brand to 200 of its stores later this year. Each Babies 'R' Us assortment will range from 750 to 2,500 feet of space featuring baby gear, apparel and more.
The first Babies 'R' Us shops inside the department stores will open this August, with plans to roll them out in 200 locations this fall, Kohl's announced in March.

Kohl's revealed Wednesday that Babies 'R' Us will reach Florida at five stores:
- 11824 Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville
- 513 SW Pine Island Road, Cape Coral
- 13760 Old St Augustine Road, Jacksonville
- 1401 Town Center Drive, Lakeland
- 12200 Miramar Pkwy., Miramar
Kohl’s will also offer Babies 'R' Us products online and an online Babies 'R' Us at Kohl’s gift registry.

Babies 'R' Us began closing stores in 2018 after its parent company at the time, Toys 'R' Us, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. WHP Global acquired both brands in 2021.
Last July, Babies 'R' Us re-emerged with a new flagship location at the American Dream mall in New Jersey, where Toys 'R' Us also opened a flagship store.
Much like Babies 'R' Us at Kohl's, Toys 'R' Us has opened hundreds of locations within Macy's stores.
