Brutal Bar Brawl Leads To Plea For Help
A fight at Nate's Anchor Bar in Winter Haven left four people injured, including two with stab wounds.

WINTER HAVEN, FL — A brutal Friday morning fight at Nate’s Anchor Bar that left four people injured has Winter Haven Police asking for any witnesses to step forward.
According to the agency, officers were called to the 239 Third St. S.W. bar around 1:32 a.m. July 14 about a fight in progress. When they arrived, officers learned the suspects had already fled. Four injured people, however, were still on the scene.

“One person was injured from a beer bottle being broken over his head,” the agency wrote in a Friday email to media. “Two others were injured from stab wounds, one to the abdomen and the other to the chest area under his arm.” The fourth injured person had cuts on his arm, police said.
All four men, who have not been identified by authorities, were taken to local hospitals for treatment. All four are believed to have suffered non-life-threatening injuries, the police department noted.

Police said the investigation into the brawl remains active. Anyone who “was at Nate’s Anchor Bar last night or possibly has any information” about the incident is asked to call the police department at 863-401-2256.
