Burlington Stores’ New Location Opening in Lakeland Friday

LAKELAND, FL — Burlington Stores Inc., a major off-price retailer offering deals on favorite brands for the entire family and home, is opening a new store in the Shoppes of Lakeland, 4011 U.S. 98 N., Lakeland.

To celebrate the grand opening and highlight Burlington's ongoing commitment to education, the retailer will donate $5,000 to nearby North Lakeland Elementary School through its long-standing partnership with the national nonprofit organization, AdoptAClassroom.org.

Funds will be used to help teachers purchase necessary materials for their classrooms. The presentation of the donation to local school and district leaders will take place at the ribbon-cutting ceremony to take place outside the new store Friday at 7:45 a.m.

• On Friday following the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 8 a.m., the first 200 customers ages 18 and up will receive a $5 Bonus Card to be used toward their purchase.
• On Saturday, the first 200 customers ages 18 and up will receive a Burlington WOW! Buck to scratch off and reveal a prize up to $250 to be used toward their purchase.
• On Sunday, customers will receive a free Burlington tote while supplies last, no purchase necessary.  

This is a relocation of the store that was previously located at 3800 U.S. 98 N., Suite 510, Lakeland.

Burlington has brand-name merchandise arriving regularly with up to 60 percent off other retailers’ prices, according to Michael O’Sullivan, CEO, Burlington Stores.

“Our goal is to continue to offer communities great values on brand-name merchandise for the entire family and home,” said O’Sullivan. “We’re continuing to expand our footprint across the country and are excited to be relocating a store in Lakeland. We look forward to giving local customers the chance to discover fantastic prices on a wide range of products.”

Burlington is open Monday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.
