Fight Over Cat Injures 2 People In Lakeland: Report
Three people were arrested after an argument over the ownership of a cat turned violent in Lakeland, a report said.
LAKELAND, FL — Two people were injured and three arrested after shots were fired during an argument over the ownership of a cat laye Sunday night in Lakeland, WFLA reported.
A man and two women went to the home of two other women and demanded a cat that was in the residence with them, the report said. When one of the women at the home was pulled outside, one of the suspects pulled out a screwdriver as a weapon.
After this, one of the victims got a shotgun from the home and fired warning shots at the suspects, reports said. Some of the bullets hit a neighbor’s car.
