Haines City Officer Placed On Suspension Pending Sexual Assault Investigation
A deputy with Haines City Police is suspended without pay while authorities investigate sexual assault accusations against the officer.
HAINES CITY, FL — A Haines City police officer faces sexual battery charges after Orange County Sheriff deputies accused him of assaulting a physically helpless person, multiple news outlets reported.
Deputies arrested 38-year-old Jason Rafael Roldos on charges of burglary with assault or battery, too, Sunday. Roldos has been employed with Haines City Police Department since 2007, according to WTVT.
"Roldos will be suspended without pay while criminal and internal investigations take place," WFLA reported. "He had no prior disciplinary action, according to the department."
