Hurricane Irma: AT&T Gives Floridians Unlimited Access
The free AT&T service has been granted to all of its wireless customers in Florida because of Hurricane Irma.

LAKELAND, FL – AT&T is giving all of its wireless customers throughout the state of Florida a break in the wake of Hurricane Irma. The communications company issued credits and waived additional fees to give unlimited data, talk and texts to AT&T wireless customers and unlimited talk and texts to AT&T Prepaid customers.
The unlimited service is for all of AT&T’s customers in Florida from Friday, Sept. 8 through at least Sunday, Sept. 17. The service provider is also extending payment dates for AT&T Prepaid customers with voice and text service through Sept. 17.
Previously, AT&T offered the same unlimited service to its wireless customers in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands from Wednesday, Sept. 6 through Sunday, Sept. 10.

The company also automatically issued credits to provide unlimited text, wireless calls and landline calls from the United States to the British Virgin Islands, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos and the U.S. Virgin Islands during the same time frame. The Bahamas was added to the offer on Sept. 8.
Cricket Wireless also provided customers free calls to the Dominican Republic and Haiti from Sept. 7 through Sept. 10.

Impacted video and home internet customers can visit the AT&T support page for more information or to report service outages.
“At AT&T, our thoughts are with everyone impacted by Hurricane Irma,” the company said in a press release.
