Lakeland Man Wins $1 Million At 7-Eleven
A Florida Lottery winner wants to use his winnings to help his mother.
MULBERRY, FL — A Lakeland man walked out of a 7-Eleven very lucky on Monday with a winning Gold Rush Limited Florida Lottery card worth $1 million, a news release said.
Willie Myrick Jr., 57, said he wants to give back to his family with this financial blessing.
"I feel so blessed," Myrick told the Lottery. "The first thing I plan to do is use some of my winnings to take care of my mother."

Myrick purchased his winning ticket from 7-Eleven, 7040 Church Avenue North, Mulberry. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.
The $20 scratch-off game, Gold Rush Limited, launched in September 2021 and features 32 top prizes of $5 million and 100 prizes of $1 million. Additionally, this ticket is filled with over 33,000 prizes of $1,000 to $100,000. The game's overall odds of winning are 1-in-2.65.
