Man Spots Belongings In Truck, Confronts Suspect
A 33-year-old man was charged with burglary after he was spotted at Affordable Storage by a man who recognized some of his belongings.
BARTOW, FL — A 33-year-old man was charged with burglary and related offenses Friday after he was spotted at Affordable Storage by a man who recognized some of his personal belongings in the bed of the suspect's truck.
Michael Timothy Bottoms was also charged with grand theft and possession of burglary tools, according to Bartow police. The incident happened at 7:15 a.m.
"The renter ... confronted him," Bartow police said. "As a result, the suspect fled on foot out of the facility."

Bartow police said Bottoms was found in the bushes outside of the facility. Affordable storage is located at 1515 Centennial Blvd.
